For 2026, I thought it would be fun to do a yearlong reading challenge and celebrate our favorite books. I was raised on the MTV awards, and I always wondered why there weren’t fun awards for books. Best love triangle? Best twisty ending? Let’s do it.
Bookish Bingo and Awards Rules
Ready to get started? It’s really easy. Reading should be relaxing and fun. So, don’t stress about it.
- Download the BINGO sheet (below).
- Read or listen to books and cross them off your BINGO sheet as you go. Try for the traditional BINGO (5 in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally) or be an overachiever and try for a full blackout and read a book in every category.
- The categories that are framed in blue are categories for the Bookish Awards. To vote for your favorite books, go here and fill out this short form.
- Voting closes December 31, 2026.
- Winners will be announced in January on this website.
